Like many others here, I must appreciate your realistic approach. Looks like a person, you can actually meet... in battle :-). When I look at her, I have a feeling, that this is how Waelyn - a character from one of my novels, would look like.

Really like the armour design and texture (if that's the right word) for it. She looks like a hard-nosed, no-nonsense lady. Great drawing! :D

Yeah, I hate bikini armor is the majority of cases. It makes no practical sense.

I sure like this gal. The modest filigree in the armor and muted tones look very business-like. However, I really like that she has a sword that isn't the size of North Carolina.

Wow, how refreshing it is to actually see some armor for women which doesn't have gaping holes in the chest area. I mean, as pleasant as it is to look at, avoiding getting stabbed in the chest should probably take precedence . Great job!

By the way, her outfit is amazing, the armor looks so real, how did to make it to be that way?

Thanks for the kind words all around btw.  The answer to rendering metal can be a long one, but basically it's: 1)working out the shape of the armor (just a flat color at this point); 2) painting in the light coming from the light source (top right in this case); 3) adding in grit and bits of texture with texture brushes to make it look a bit worn; 4) finishing touches (a very very small touch of color dodge on the highlights, and balancing out the values).  There are some good tutorials around DA if you search "painting metal", which are probably better than this little explanation.  Best of luck!

A female warrior.... In armor that doesn't have a boob sock... And has armor covering most of her body? Am I in the twilight zone?!

Well done :)
